Yonah Okoth is originally from Kisumu, Kenya where both of his parents died when he was just a small boy. He and a younger sister were left in the care of their grandmother. When the grandmother became too ill to care for the children, Yonah’s sister went to live with some neighbors and Yonah was brought to Agape.

Yonah is a very quiet boy who shies away from strangers but interacts well with his peers.  His favorite color is white, his favorite animal is the dog, his favorite foods are rice and beans, his favorite sport is soccer, and his favorite school subject is science. Yonah aspires to one day become an automobile driver, a professional occupation in Kenya.
