Street Boys in Kisumu
   

Street Boys in Kisumu have been abandoned by their families.
Most have no parents due to deaths caused by AIDS.
They live by begging, stealing, and sniffing glue supplied by street vendors.
They sniff glue in order to numb their plight – to deal with hunger,
to keep warm at night, and to keep from feeling anything.
   
   
They sleep in alleys, parks,
in abandoned buildings, and on sidewalks.
There are no local or government facilities
to take care of these precious children.
