  David, or Davie as he is known by his friends, was abandoned by his mother when he was just two years old.  Unwilling to take proper care of the boy, his father often drank too much.  When Davie decided to leave home, his father never came to look for him. Davie was found by a doctor in Kisumu and taken to Agape in May 2006.

Davie is a very playful boy with a strong, bold personality.  He is one of Agape’s youngest children yet refuses to be intimidated, even by boys twice his size.  He loves learning Swahili and is also working on his English.  Davie would one day like to be a pilot or a driver.
